This piece takes the traditional Bulgarian 'barduche' water jug and reimagines it in a contemporary context- with a clean, minimalist form and a unique colorful glazing technique.
The vessel is handbuilt in white stoneware using the traditional coiling method. Interior is glazed clear. The top and handle are glazed in a unique colorful combination "Rainbow Reverie", while the bottom is burnished for a smooth natural, unglazed clay texture.
Each piece will have variations in glaze colors, due to the nature of the glazing process, and will have a unique pattern of coloration.
Approximately 11in/28cm tall and 8in/20cm wide.
